Jane Means who is regarded as Britain's Gift Wrap Guru will be at the Autumn Fair this year to run a host of Gift Wrapping Ideas in the Talking Point Seminars.  She will be hosting various seminars including Ideas for Christmas, Tackling Awkward Shapes and also covering Natural and Eco friendly wrapping styles for retailers. During each seminar Jane will be cramming in plenty of ribbon tying, bows and finishing touches, with help on marketing and starting up for a wrapping service.

Jane who now has clients travelling from all over the world to attend her wrapping classes, will be sharing valuable money and time saving tips if you wish to introduce a gift wrapping service to your business. "Last years seminars were so well attended, it shows how retailers are taking Gift Wrapping seriously nowadays" Jane Says.

"For as little as 30p you can wrap your customers gifts beautifully in under two minutes and this is a very powerful marketing tool, ensuring your customers will not only spend but also return for future purchases". She says "Whilst Gift Wrapping at Selfridges I couldn't believe how the service generated spending power, and customers left with beautifully wrapped gifts with another job less to do"

This Christmas will be a very competitive time so any extra services will grab attention. In the Chistmas Ideas seminar, Jane will cover many different styles to suit your image and budget. Her style is very much simple, classic and understated that can be tailored to the customers needs.

Even tying in small unused baubles can have an impact and it's a good way of using last years surplus stock. The great thing about this Christmas is there are so many trends from jewel colours, monochrome, vibrant textures and the classic gold and silver which is always a favourite.

Brown paper and natural wrapping has always been one of Janes favourite styles (so much so she is currently designing a trade ribbon range to compliment brown paper!) During the Eco friendly seminar she will be demonstrating how to include fresh foliage, sticks, cones, dried fruits and will incude valuable tips on how to recycle old wrapping paper and decorations without it looking too amateur. Not only is this style of wrapping cost effective but you are also been kind to the planet and the results can be amazing.

Jane who loves a good challenge has often been on television and been given a surprise object to wrap infront of the cameras. This has been from a rugby ball on the Richard and Judy show to a bike or two on the BBC.  "The most awkward thing I had to wrap was a Stevensons rocking horse infront of an audience in Edinburgh. Luckily I tackled it with help from a few keen volunteers and we had plenty of fun on the way".

Awkward shapes are always seen as a headache to most but Jane loves nothing more to transform an awkward item in to an artistic creation if it's not in a box.  She will be covering easy wrapping ideas for garments, plants, circular items and those awkward and sharp items. These can often be wrapped easily with alternative wrapping like paper tablecloths and fabric.

You also wont be leaving the seminars empty handed either.  There will be handy tip sheets for everyone including a £10 voucher if you wish to attend one of her unique Lincolnshire courses, with a chance to win a Gift Wrapping Course for 2 worth £190. All you have to do is leave your details and one lucky winner will be announced during the last seminar of the fair.

Even if you can't attend the seminars, you can be kept up to date in the world of wrapping
