Private Courses

These are available in the comfort of your own home and are cheaper in price to the regular courses providing you have a few attending. One to one courses are available however prove expensive as the standard charge applies.  You can have a course solely covering Gift Wrapping or Card Making.

On a full day you can even enjoy a mixture if you just want a fun day entertaining your friends!

Jane also works evenings so you decide the start time

This is based on up to 6 people attending.

Full Course
Course length: 6 hours including lunch break
This can be in Gift Wrapping or Card Making

Course Content:
Gift Wrapping: Basics, Japanese pleating, bottles, spheres, tackling awkward shapes, presentation and decoration, bows, making gift bags and envelopes

Card Making: 14-15 Cards

Includes: All materials, handouts, certificate

Mini Course
Course length: 4hrs including quick lunch break
This is available as Gift wrapping or Card Making

Corporate Courses

These are available in your store or workplace. You and your staff will learn all of the tips of the trade from an expert who has provided a gift wrapping service for Selfridges, Blackwell Books, Country Living Fairs and The White Company. This is suited to all budgets and you also practice wrapping your own products. Jane can also give you tips with marketing, visual displays, presentation and recommended suppliers in the trade.

She will also be running Gift Wrapping seminars at the Autumn Fair at Birmingham NEC in September.

Basic Course (2 hours)          £195

This is a basic course ideal if you are offering a boxed wrapping service. You will cover how to wrap boxes professionally and learn how to make your bows look a million dollars. You will also gain tips on using tissue. You can practice wrapping you own products, and if you prefer we can run the course using your custom gift wrap and ribbons. Refresher courses are available.

Basic Course (4 hours)     £295

This is the a more compact version of the full course and ideal if you want to run a quick course for your staff during work hours. on the card making course you will make as many cards as possible within the 4 hours.

This is a mini course and any additional time spent will be charged as the Full Course rate

Full Intensive Course (6 hours)          £375
This covers all aspects of Gift Wrapping to suit any budget. You will learn the basics of wrapping, learning how to do the perfect box without any ugly sticky tape. You will also cover wrapping bottles, circular items, large items, sharp objects and awkward shapes. Once you have done this you will learn how to make the perfect bow and how to add inexpensive finishing touches and embellishments. You will also receive invaluable information on effective displays, marketing, branded product design and useful suppliers. Refresher courses are available.

Travelling Expenses

Travel expenses are excluded.

Unless transport has been arranged, an additional round trip mileage fee will be charged at the standard

HM Revenue and Customs rate of 40p per mile, along with any additional parking expenses and congestion charges etc.

Deposit

When your booking has been made, please send a deposit of £100

Payment and Booking

For authorised Corporate accounts, payment terms are strictly 30 days after course date.

Cancellations

Full refunds are given if cancellations are received in writing 14 days prior to the course date. 

If cancellations are within 14 days a cancellation fee will be charged

Over 14 days          NO cancellation Fee

7-13 days                50% Fee

Within 7 days         100% Fee

Lunch and Refreshments

If you not providing lunch for your guests, please ensure they bring their own refreshments.

What is Excluded

Private venue costs, travelling expenses, accommodation (if overnight stay is required) and lunch/refreshments aren’t included. If an overseas flight is involved Jane is happy to use a budget airline (i.e.Ryanair) to keep costs to a minimum.
